DUI Not Guilty Jury Verdict with .16 BAC

Client was arrested for drunk driving after crashing his vehicle in a ravine.

He submitted to an evidential blood draw at the request of the arresting officer and the toxicology report indicated a bodily alcohol concentration (BAC) of .16, which is double the legal limit.

During the subsequent jury trial, DUI Lawyer Edward Duke was successful in raising reasonable doubt about the accuracy of the lab report through a thorough cross-examination of the Michigan State Police lab supervisor in charge of the client’s blood analysis.

The jury returned a verdict of not guilty after only 20 minutes of deliberation.
